The Rajasthan Single Sign-On (SSO) portal is a digital initiative launched by the Government of Rajasthan to simplify the lives of its citizens. Think of the SSO ID as a "Universal Digital Key" — once you create this one identity, you gain access to over 100+ government departments and services without ever needing to create another username or password.
Previously, citizens had to remember multiple usernames and passwords for different government services. With the SSO system, a single set of login credentials can unlock all authorized portals, making the experience much more convenient.
The Rajasthan State Electronics Development Corporation (RSDC), under the supervision of the Rajasthan Information Technology Department, launched the SSO ID initiative. This project aligns with the state government's broader vision to digitize public services, reduce bureaucracy, and make government services more accessible to all citizens.
Launched under the Digital Rajasthan campaign, the portal acts as a centralized hub. Whether you are a student applying for a scholarship, a job seeker looking for the latest RPSC/RSSB recruitment, or a business owner filing for a license, the SSO ID is your mandatory gateway.

The SSO portal categorizes its users into three distinct groups:
The primary feature is the "One ID, Many Services" model. Users no longer need to remember dozens of passwords for different departments like Education, Health, or Revenue. One unique SSO ID provides access to over 200+ government applications.
For recruitment cycles, the OTR feature is a game-changer. It automatically fetches your name, DOB, and gender from your Aadhaar/Jan Aadhaar. Once verified, you don't have to re-enter personal details for every new job application, reducing errors and saving time.
Every application you submit — whether for a Caste Certificate, Scholarship, or RTI — is visible on your personal dashboard. You can track the status (Pending, Approved, or Rejected) in real-time, complete with timestamps.
The Rajasthan SSO portal uses both Hindi and English language, so users can easily benefit from the portal.
The SSO portal offers three broad categories of services:
With an SSO ID, residents can access services such as e-Mitra Services (bill payments, certificate applications, and other citizen services), Bhamashah Services (government welfare schemes and benefits), the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board (RSPCB) for environmental compliance, the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) for water supply and sanitation services, and Scholarships and Employment Portals for state-specific educational and job schemes.
Other popular services include the Recruitment Portal for applying to RPSC, RSSB, and Rajasthan Police jobs; Scholarship (SJE) for Social Justice and Empowerment department scholarships; Jan Aadhaar to update family details or download your digital Jan Aadhaar card; and Rajasthan Sampark (181) to file complaints or grievances against any government department.
Business Registration (BRN) allows access to business services like commercial taxes, industry registration, and licences. GST filing and payment, as well as TDS return filing for businesses, are also supported.
HRMS (Human Resource Management System) allows employees to manage attendance, salary slips, GPF, and leave. RajSSO Mail enables government employees to use this service for official communication.
SSO ID Rajasthan offers several benefits: Convenience (users can access multiple government services with a single login), Efficiency (the system reduces paperwork and waiting time), Security (strong security measures protect user data ensuring privacy and confidentiality), Accessibility (a user-friendly design across web, mobile, and service centers), Improved service delivery, Cost savings by reducing paper-based processes, and Enhanced transparency by making government services more accessible to citizens.
Registering is a straightforward process:
Visit the SSO Portal at sso.rajasthan.gov.in, enter your Rajasthan Single Sign-On ID and password, and click the "Login" button. You will then be taken to your dashboard, from where you can access any integrated service.
Users who want to change their password can log in using their default password, then click on the "Forgot Password" option and an OTP will be sent to their registered mobile number. After entering the OTP, they will be able to set a new password. Users can also recover their SSO ID by sending an SMS to 9223166166, by typing "RJ SSO" and sending it to that number from their registered mobile.
If you have accidentally created more than one SSO ID, the portal provides a merge option. You can log in to the Rajasthan SSO Portal using any of your SSO IDs, go to your profile settings, select the "Deactivate Account" option, provide your mobile number and OTP for verification, and then enter the active SSO ID that you wish to retain.
If you prefer using your phone instead of a computer, the SSO Rajasthan Mobile App brings all the features of the SSO portal to your fingertips, making it easier to access services anytime, anywhere.

The SSO ID Rajasthan portal represents a landmark step in India's e-governance journey. By bringing over 100 government services under a single digital identity, it eliminates bureaucratic friction, saves time, reduces physical office visits, and empowers every citizen — from students and job seekers to business owners and government employees — to engage with the state seamlessly and securely. If you are a resident of Rajasthan and haven't registered yet, visiting sso.rajasthan.gov.in and creating your SSO ID is a quick, one-time step that opens the door to a world of digital government services.
There is no official age limit to create an SSO ID. However, for students, it is usually created when they reach the age for scholarship applications (Grade 6+).
Yes, anyone can create an SSO ID using a Google/Gmail account. While many services are for Rajasthan residents only, candidates from other states need an SSO ID to apply for Rajasthan government jobs (RPSC/RSSB) under the General category.
The portal often experiences high traffic during the last dates of major recruitment exams like LDC or CET. If the site is slow, try clearing your browser cache or accessing the portal during off-peak hours (late night or early morning). You can also try the official "SSO Raj" mobile app as an alternative.
If your profile is linked to Jan Aadhaar or Aadhaar, you cannot edit your name or DOB directly in the SSO portal. You must first update these details in your Aadhaar/Jan Aadhaar record.
The OTR feature automatically fetches your name, DOB, and gender from your Aadhaar/Jan Aadhaar. Once verified, you don't have to re-enter personal details for every new job application, reducing errors and saving time.
